time for another reflective “thank you” (it is thanksgiving eve after all)…
after sitting down to put this together, i realized i forgot to do one of these last year… that is not a reflection of my lack of gratitude towards those of you out there that support me, but rather an administrative oversight that i can only blame on myself.
so, please accept my apologies for skipping this last year…
with that said… drumroll please…
like in 2022, this is not an exhaustive list of everybody who deserves a sincere “thank you” from me this year. like much of what you do when you are your own boss and a one man show, you get things done by the seat of your pants and often wing it the best you can. some of the people and organizations on this list are clients. some of you are not clients (but maybe will be in the future), but still took time out of your day to help me in some way – often times more than you probably realized in the moment. you all are rockstars and i wouldn’t be able to keep doing what i do without all of you.

- my family – thanks for keeping me going when it feels like too much and being my biggest cheerleaders
- my daughter charlotte for being my continual inspiration – hopefully one day you’ll think your dad is cool and made cool stuff
- my protege, cricket (and her family) – you figuring out how you want to make your way in this world is so inspiring and keeps me grounded. if you don’t know cricket, file this away for later. she is going to do amazing things in the sports journalism world, and become a major champion for girls and women’s sports. no pressure, cricket!
- greater bloomington chamber of commerce – i’ve never felt more connected to our town and what is happening in it than i do right now – largely thanks to your organization’s support and guidance.
- the dimension mill team – innovation week will prove to be huge for me personally and as a business. i can’t wait to see what else we work together on in the future.

like i said, not an exhaustive list… if i took the time to individually thank everyone that supports me on facebook, instagram, and patreon, i’d be here for an eternity, but all of you rock, believe me!
it is definitely a challenge to stay level-headed in this space, doing what i do, but over the last week or so, i’ve really developed a level of calm that feels good. maybe it’s the fact that the election is finally behind us. maybe it’s me getting sentimental about it being the holiday season. i have a ton of work on my plate but it doesn’t feel stressful but instead, exciting.
i’m sure i’ll get stressed again soon but for now, i feel focused and refreshed.
2025 will be another great year. who knows what new doors will open for me. that’s a big part of the fun; pushing myself to take risks, be confident, and make the most of what i unlock for myself.
